Snow Day Ramen

when you can’t get to the store (or just don’t feel like going out)

  1. Make gooey eggs - run eggs under hot tap water (this prevents cracking) bring water to a boil and add eggs. Boil for 6 minutes, drain and run under cold water.

  2. Make top ramen, either with or without packet.

  3. If skipping the packet boil noodles in chicken broth, adding a few splashes of soy sauce and maybe a little sriracha... lots of options here.

  4. After ramen cooks, add a big handful of spinach to the pot.

  5. Divide between bowls, top with any/all of these:

  • eggs

  • rotisserie chicken (or any leftover steak or pork)

  • sesame seeds

  • dried seaweed

  • sriracha (joolz is best)

  • sliced green onions

  • crushed peanuts

  • any fresh vegetables, thinly sliced
