How to Practice

When: Morning, on clean, dry skin — before showering — so exfoliated cells rinse away.

Step‑by‑step

  1. Start at the feet. Use long, even strokes moving upward toward the heart.

  2. Legs and arms. Brush each area 5–10 times with light to moderate pressure.

  3. Torso. Use shorter strokes on the torso; avoid direct pressure on the breasts. Sweep outward and upward toward lymph nodes. (you can also use clockwise, circular strokes on the belly to aid digestion)

  4. Neck and décolleté. Use very gentle strokes upward toward the jawline and then toward the armpits.

  5. Finish with a shower. Rinse, then before toweling off, massage a nourishing oil or serum with the water to restore lipids and lock in moisture. Dab dry with a towel if necessary. 

Duration and frequency: 2–5 minutes per session; 3–5 times per week for most people. Reduce frequency if irritation appears.

Safety and Limits
